What they needSenior Test Engineer Long-term freelance contract 100% on-site Strasbourg Major European agency Competitive remunerationWe are actively seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a long-term freelance contract within a major European agency.Based in Strasbourg, you will be involved across the entire quality lifecycle, from defining test approaches through to final reporting, including test management and automation, in an agile, multicultural environment oriented towards excellence.Your responsibilities:Define test strategies and scopes tailored to each product and release, and design robust test approaches in collaboration with Test Engineers.Plan and oversee all testing activities in their entirety, and coordinate the setup of environments and tools with relevant stakeholders.Prepare product quality assessments by reviewing requirements and design documentation, and by creating test scenarios, test cases, and test data, including test case automation.Evaluate the quality of deliverables by documenting results and ensuring clear communication on the quality levels achieved.Design and maintain reliable automated tests, drawing on proven automation frameworks.Continuously assess and seek ways to improve product quality, in particular through requirements review and the enhancement of test approaches.Leverage test analysis and automation frameworks to ensure requirements coverage and fast, reliable test execution.Your profile:Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as a Test Engineer, with proven expertise in test planning, test scenario creation, execution, and automation.Solid command of testing standards and methodologies, test and defect management tools, and agile approaches.Experience in API testing (Postman, Kreya, or equivalent), complex integration testing, test automation, and end-user acceptance testing (UAT) management.Good command of databases and SQL, containerised solutions (Docker/Kubernetes), and observability tools (monitoring, logs).Ability to understand the business context, define priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Good level of English (minimum B2).Comfortable working in a multicultural, international, and multi-vendor environment.Our offer:A long-term freelance contract, 100% on-site, within an international institutional environment.Ambitious projects with high strategic impact, in a stimulating and constantly evolving technological context.A multicultural and innovative working environment, with high-level technical teams.Competitive remuneration, commensurate with your expertise and responsibilities.Are you interested in this assignment?
